Catalina 10.15 Beta Sync Issues

I recently had to go to the beta kernel for OS X because of a bug in the current release where my computer kept crashing. However, my iOS devices would never appear in ITunes after installing that. So I went ahead and went to the Catalina Beta.

Unfortunately, still having issues. My devices show up in Finder as "?". If I click that, it says "To allow this computer to access information on this device, click Pair". So I do that and I always get "Pairing error".

Anybody know a solution? I've tried both my phone and tablet, different cables, and different ports on my Mac.

First of all I would not run a Beta version on my main computer. As Beta versions are more or less finished I would find it meaningless to do any troubleshooting of that.

What kind of troubleshooting did you do in Mojave version? Which Mac and year?

Agree with ink, it's pointless to guess, as beta's are... well, an incomplete release!
