Du kan prøve at installere firewall'en zonealarm ( http://www.zonelabs.com/ )og nægte Medal Of Honor adgang til nettet, når den beder om det.

Medal of Honor Allied Assault Frequently Asked Questions

Q: When starting the game, the Windows auto-dialer starts and freezes or crashes my game. Why is this?
A: If you are experiencing a freeze or crash while starting a game, it may be due to a conflict between the Windows auto-dialer and Medal of Honor Allied Assault. To alleviate the problem, you should set up your computer to never automatically dial an internet connection. Please follow the steps below.

Note: After completing these steps your computer will no longer connect to the internet automatically. You will need to connect to your internet service provider manually whenever an internet connection is desired.

Windows 98 users:
1) Click the Start button.
2) Select Settings and click Control Panel.
3) Double-click Internet. The Internet Properties window appears.
4) Click the Connections tab.
5) Select "Connect to the Internet Using a Local Network".
6) Click OK.

Windows 98 SE and Windows ME users:
1) Click the Start button.
2) Select Settings and click Control Panel.
3) Double-click Internet Options. The Internet Properties window appears.
4) Click the Connections tab.
5) Select "Never Dial a Connection".
6) Click OK.

Windows XP users:
1) Click the Start button.
2) Select Settings and click Control Panel.
3) Click Network and Internet Connections.
4) Click Internet Options. The Internet Properties window appears.
5) Click the Connections tab.
6) Select "Never dial a connection".
7) Click OK.

ups ovenstående duer vist ikke i xp:
Well those of you experiencing crashes on Win XP caused by autodialler I hope this helps!!!!
The reason for this happening is that Allied Assault automotically checks Gamespy (what a tremendous decision EA ?!? Thanks you so much(can you spot the sarcasm there??)) when you run a game.
But wait theres a FAQ which tells you how to fix this! Great does it work, eh in a word NO, not on XP!

Heres what you do, theres a service which is started by default within XP called Remote Access Auto Connection manager, change this from Automatically start to manual.

Your frustrations are solved!
