Mandrake9 og kompilering af programmer...

Jeg har leget lidt med Mandrake9 paa min baerbare, og moeder lidt modstand

Indroemmet, jeg har forsoegt installationen saa minimal som mulig - en minimal FreeBSD fx. indeholder da som minimum mulighed for at kompilere de mest gaengse programmer.

Er det bare mig, eller er Linux stadig ikke naaet et punkt hvor det er et reelt alternativ endnu ?
