Sendmail problem

En af mine engelske kammerater har et problem med hans RedHat box. Jeg "gider" ikke til at oversætte det til dansk, så jeg håber i forstår engelsk ;):


"I know the exact problem, I just can't fix it. Ok here it comes how I screwed up the email.

This box runs sendmail configured through Ensim pro on a redhat 7.3 box. Ensim pro is a web appliance that help manage the site, making it a bit easier for me especially since I no longer have physical access to the server.

Well the sendmail that came preloaded on the serevr was 8.11 well obviously that is no good (big holes) so I decided to patch it. First mistake since I am not the greatest linux admin. So I grabbed a redhat 7.3 sendmail 8.12 rpm. I then ran it and low and behold every damn thing got reverted back to a clean install of sendmail. So it does not recognize any of the domains that are hosted on this box. It will not accept email for any of the pop3 accounts either. Very sad!"
