Det er en svensk standart som omhandler elektromagetisk udstråling. Det betyder at en skærm har lav udstråling... Her er lidt mere information:
MRP = Mat och ProvRad
------
Swedish standard that limits the amount of possibly harmful electromagnetic radiation that may be produced by visual display units (VDUs). A monitor tested for MPR-II compliance should have low emission rates.
-----
The Swedish MPR II standard was developed in response to health concerns about electromagnetic fields given off by monitors. Though these emissions have not been proven harmful to humans, the Swedish government established the stringent standard just in case. MPR II compliance means that a monitor has been tested and shown to have low emissions.
-----
A standard limiting the electromagnetic field that can be emitted by computer equipment.
A voluntary standard specified by the Swedish government limiting Very Low Frequency (VLF--more than 300 Hz and up to 30 kHz) EMF emissions to less than 0.25 µT (millionths of a tesla) at 50 cm distances in any direction from a computer monitor.
Initially released in 1987, revised to include Extremely Low Frequencies (ELF--up to 300 Hz) in 1991. Another standard (which permits only even lower EMF emissions) is TCO.
