My Mandrake 10.1 hangs!
Hello!I used to run Windows 2000 on my computer but suddenly it started to hang a lot. So I changed the OS to Mandrake 8.1. That OS worked fine, it nearly never hanged.
But of course I would like to use the latest version of Mandrake. So one hour ago Mandrake 10.1 was installed and to my surprised it started to hang a lot, just like my former Windows 2000 installtion. Sometimes I can run 5 minutes, sometimes it I just get to the log in prompt.
At hanging time the screen freezes and the computer does not respond to any input at all. I can see some lines over the screen like there is some screen update error.
So if any one got any idea how to solve this please let me know.
