The Black Panthers recieved great support from black teens in the big cities. They wore they groups symbols, black leather coats og black baretter (ja hvad fanden er det:)) and wore at unconcealed weapons at the same time. The group became subject to great interest from the the local police force and from the FBI. The group lost force in the late 60'erne as a consequence of armed internal encounters and destructive infiltration from the authorities, there increasing splittelsen(kan sgu ikke lige finde et ord for det) between the panters and other black militante groups.

ja det blev kun til en omformulering af første afsnit - lød forkert *s*

Heh stavebøffer over det hele - det staves jo "Separation" :D

når man sidder og oversætter så kan man jo pludselig ikke huske ord hehe

Jeg startede helt forfra, med nogle lidt andre US-engelske øjne (US-english):

Black Panther Party for Self Defense turned into the 1960’s best known black organization, both within and outside the USA. The Black Panthers were extensively supported by the black and young people in the large cities.
They wore the group symbols – black leather jackets and black berets – and often carried unconcealed weapons.
By then, the local police authorities and the FBI took on a substantial interest in the group.
The group lost a lot of its influence already in the late 60’s due to internal, armed encounters and destructive infiltration from the authorities, which increased the separation between the Panthers and other black, militant groupings.

Nå det var åbenbart ikke interessant at give point for hjælpen....
