Fjern styring vha. net use - need help.

I'm running into problems. I'm a complete newb using net use and so forth, so bear with me. tongue.gif

I've got a testsetup running on my LAN beside me running XP SP2, an admin account which isn't named "administrator" with a decent pass and running "nolmhash". Now, when I used the "net use" command I ran into several problems. The "system error 53" for instance, which I tried to Google and I found this:

I checked the resolutions, and I wasn't running a domain, just a workgroup (should I be running a domain?), and I have no idea what NetBIOS is, so I jumped pass that option for a moment. I hadn't enabled print and file share so I did that and the rest seemed to be fine. Now when I try to connect using the commands given in the video:

"net use \\computername\ipc$ /u:Username"

.. it seems to connect me.

When I then connect to the remote computer in regedit I get a connection established, but when I try to access some of the directories I get "An error occured while trying to open the key" <- this is my interpretation, not the exact error, I'm not running english Windows XP.

What did I miss?
