Automatically updates, is it possible in 7 and 10?

Hello Guys!
(Hope I have not asked this question before, a bit tired tonight)
How ever at my kids school I participate in a technical-group. One issue that the IT-responsible struggle with is that he manually need to install updates on all Win 7 and Win 10 machines. It takes a lot of time and he would love to have this done automatically.
Is this behavior possible to configure to be all automatically done, say check every night if it is on?

Best regards
Fredrik

Windows has had automatic updates for a very long time now, and on Windows 10 it's actually not possible to disable it.

What exactly does he feel isn't happening?

In Windows 10 pro you can temporarily abort updates for 35 days.
A build update can be posponed for 365 days.
A Quality update can be posponed for 30 days.

This you can adjust this in the advanced settings for automatic updates.
I don't think that you can do that in Windows 10 Home.

Hello Guys!
The problem seems to be that the updates do works but they might start during the day. It has often occurred when a teacher just should show something on her computer during class and that disrupt the lesson.

So the question seems to be if it is possible to just do updates after 18:00 and before 05:00.
What do you think guys is that possible?
Best regards
Fredrik
