En menu til men Home-Page

Jeg vil gerne have en menu til min side. Det er let, men jeg vil gerne have den i en ramme til venstre, og så skulle der kunne stå text til højre. jeg har prøvet at lave menuen som frames. DVS. at index bare sætter menuen og siden sammen. Men skrot det, jeg kan ikke finde ud af at lave en menu i en ramme, så man kan skrive text ved side af. Vil i ikke give en simpel kode til det ? Eller en url til en side der har det *sS* Bare skriv hvis du er i tvivl
