well in a combo box you can use me.mycombo.column(2) for exampe, so I think this can be used in a listbox too

I'm kinda missing something there, terry...

When I click a certain element in the list, I want to open another form using a macro (unless there's an easier way!)..........that macro opens the form with the WHERE clause set to:
[Forms]![Mammografi - Hovedmenu]![CPR]=[Forms]![Formular1]![Liste0]
But CPR is a number (i.e. 1212232201) and the value of Liste0 is an index......I just can't see how I can "connect" the two! :( :( :(

if youplace a button on the main form using the wizard you can create the code toopen another form using the selection from you listbox. This will use the index as you say yourself. In th elsitbox do you not have the CPR number in one of the other columns?
If youdo then you just alter the code to use the column containing the CPR number.
Lets say column 1 in th elsit contains th index and column 2 the CPR number.

stDocName = "[Mammografi - Hovedmenu]"
stLinkCriteria = "[CPRnr]=" & Me![Liste0].Column(2)
DoCmd.OpenForm stDocName, , , stLinkCriteria
