Installation af mapi

Hej

I know NOTHING about mapi but I could imagine that your problem is that the mapi uses DLL/OCX files which are not installed on your W98 PC. If you go into the tools references menu (Access) then you will more than likely see that there are MISSING references an it is these you need to get hold of and install. You should also be able to see these in the XP version.

Torben I have a feeling that these controls are included with VB 6.0! They are NOT included with Access as far as I can see! Am I right in saying thet you have VB on your XP PC?

torben I have VB on a windows 98 PC but not on my XP PC! I CAN create a database using BOTH of these controls on my W98 PC but when I open the dB on my XP Pc these controls are NOT visible. So as I say I think your problem is taht these controls come from VB 6 and NOT Access

It seems as if you have found the answer. I have bought Office XP developer and I will use that to make a distribution package. The reson why I didnt do it in the first place was, that I need some files in danish and my dev. tools are in english.
Thank you for solving the question.
