Battlefield 1942
Jeg har købt battlefield 1942
Mit os er win XP pro og køre ntfs
Når jeg starter spillet op ser man skiltet battlefield 1942 og den går i sort skærm som om den lige skal til at starte spillet. Men dt gør den ikke .. dn går tilbage i windows og kommer med en fejl lyd. Man kan lige nå at ane at den lukker en promt men det ser man max 0.5 sec.
jeg har opataeret driverne til mit radeon kort .. de officelle ati drivere. og spillet er opdateret

There are several easy steps that you initially need to take to trouble shoot any problem you may be experiencing with your game.
1. Check your Sound and Video Card Drivers
It is extremely important to have the latest drivers. running on your machine.Check what drivers you have running for your sound and video card. Run DXdiag and check the driver version you have installed and then consult your Machine Manufacturer/Supplier and/or your Sound/Video card manufacturer for specific details on the latest driver available.
2. Check Direct X version.
Make sure you are running the latest version of DirectX. The verson required for the game will be included on the CD, normally in a folder called DirectX. Please see "Checking the status of DirectX" for details on how to do this.
3. Close down addtional tasks
Close down any programs or applications that you have running in the background, this also includes Virus checkers. This is easily done by pressing the 3 key combination "Ctrl + Alt + Delete" all at the same time. This will bring up the "Close Program" Window. All that you should see listed is " Explorer" and "Systray", if any others programs are listed left click to highlight them one at a time and then click on the "End Task" button. Repeat this method until Explorer and Systray are the only programs left running.
4. CD Rom settings.
Make sure that your CD drive is set up correctly. Area's to check are:
That you are running the correct drivers. That the cache is set correctly. That the disc is not damaged
5. Uninstall and re-install the software.
If you are having problems with a game first try uninstalling and then reinstalling the game. This is especially if you have applied any 3rd party add-ons and are then trying to install an Add-on Disc or a Mission Disc.
6. Regular Maintenance.
Like everything it is important to make sure your machine is in tip top condition. Have a look at the "Regular Maintenance" page for details.

her er noget du kan prøve. gå til *:\Programmer\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\Mods\bf1942\Settings og åbn VideoDefault.con med notepad. find linien renderer.allowAllRefreshRates 0 i VideoDefault.con og skriv 1 i stedet for 0 dvs. der skal stå renderer.allowAllRefreshRates 1
