If you are considering attaching to an Access database (backend) on a web server FROM an Access db (frontend)on your local PC then forget it, you can NOT!
IF we are talking about a LAN network then you split the database into two parts, one holding the forms etc. (frontend and the other (backend) holding the tables (data) then the tables from the backend are linked into the front end using and ODBC connection. Each user has their own copy of the frontend and the back end is on a file server on the LAN. This is a typical set-up for multi user applications.
Whats my problem? If you have received an answer you can use then you could accept it. If you still need help then you could respond so we can help. Its a two way thing this!
