http://www.annoyances.org/exec/forum/winxp/r1075134743Der er mange, der har stødt på problemet, og jeg har endnu ikke fundet et sted med en god løsning. :o(
Jeg vil forske mere i det, men er ikke for optimistisk.

In case this hasn't been resolved yet, and for future visitors to this forum, the answer can be found at Microsoft's support site. The short version (as I read it) is that most (but not all) programs ignore the read-only flag on directories. So Microsoft in their great wisdom decided to let windows explorer use that flag for it's own purposes and removed the ability for users to change it. If you have programs that have trouble writing to read-only directories you you can change the flag at the command prompt:
> cd "C:\Documents and Settings\username"
> attrib -r +s "My Documents"
This will clear the Read-only flag but set the System flag so explorer should still be able to recognise that it is a special folder.
