i have those drivers. it does not work :(. i have re-install my windows too. no use.

Disconnecting USB causes PC to stop
Question: I have some problems with my LASAT USB modem or Speed II ISDN adapter - sometimes when I disconnect from the Internet my computer freezes up, or the modem freezes.

Answer: There are known problems with AMD processors (especially above 350MHz) and Windows 98 SE.

tak for det, but I´ve checked it all - eicon homepage, HP homepage etc. I,m using HP Omnibook 4150 with intel usb controller and pentium2. I also updated BIOS, Windows and whatever your name it. When I install the modem manually it does not work either. This bloody windows just saying "unable to find the driver..." thus I am giving the full path to the correct driver. I think it is just not working with my notebook

Have you checked under "Device Manager", that there are no explanations ?? (Thinks it's called that) You know, yellow marks etc.

sure, it stays there under "Other devices" - "Lasat 2 usb modem". But windows does not accept the driver - even with the full path - "windows was unable to detect the driver blal bla bla

Have you tried the modem on a another computer ??
