make sure that the dB defualt open mode is set to shared and not Exclusive. This may have an influnce in a web application too.
Tools+Options then select the advanced Tab an dcheck that the default open mode is set to Shared. Also make sure that you do not open the database in Exclusive mode.
Access er som standard konfigureret til at være en flerbruger-applikation. Men brugerne kan KUN åbne og bruge databasen på alm. vis. De kan ikke ændre i design, når der er andre brugere på.
Endvidere skal brugerne have både skrive og læseadgang til netværksdrevet (og filen skal selvfølgleig heller ikke være skrivebeskyttet)
If the file (.ldb) doesnt automatically get removed, then I suspect that you still have a connection open. Make sure all connections get closed as soon as you are finihed using them!
Det er en win 2000 server med acces 2000 mener du at det kan være problemet...og at jeg skal opgradere til Access xp eller 2003 ??? så er dette et forsøg værd
No I dont meant that! If you have a .ldb file then your databases is a .mdb and NOT a .adp (Access Data Project) therefore the problem with .adp is not important here!
The problem you are having is very likely permissions on the web server an as I dont know much about web applications, I would suggest you try getting help in ASP category.
