Script vil ikke hentes ind som .js fil

Jeg har hentet nedenstående scrip
på Dynamic Drive, men syntes ikke
at jeg kan få det til at makke ret.

Jeg vil meget gerne kunne kalde det
som en ekstern resursefil (.js)
lige som man gør med et stylesheet.

Er det umuligt eller kan det skrive om?

Jeg får en syntax fejl hvis jeg laver
alt mellem <script></script>
som en ekstern fil.
