Apache med PHP på GNU/Linux

Du mangler sikkert at fortaelle apache at du vil fortolke .php som PHP. Tilfoej foelgende til /etc/apache/httpd.conf et passende sted:

    AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
    AddType application/x-httpd-php-source .phps

Det er tilføjet, fjernede de to #'er efter installationen...

Men det virker ikke...

Hvilken fejl faar du naar du forseoger at afvilke en php fil?

Den opfanger den som "ukendt" prøver at downloade den, som f.eks. en .doc fil...

Det fungerer nu...

jeg installerede blot mysql og phpmyadmin, så ændrede de åbenbart i de andre konfigurationsfiler...

Anyways, så er der problemer med Mysql...

/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock findes ikke (mappen mysqld findes)

Fidusen var nok, at Apache skulle genstartes efter at du havde rettet de to linier.

...så den kører altså ikke...

Jeg går ud fra (da du brugte apt-get) at du kører Debian - så kan jeg nemlig bare se efter på min egen ;-)

Den opretter filerne
/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.pid
/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock

Den kan ses med ps aux:

er det et problem at jeg afvikler det fra root?

Nej, du skal være root - ellers får du ikke lov at se log-filerne.

prøv at se, om en af disse giver noget spændende:

tail /var/log/mysql.log
grep -i mysql /var/log/messages

Lad os lige få noget på det rene, det er mysql-server der skal være installeret, ikke andet?

Den er nok, for at kunne bruge en mysql-server, men da du jo også vil have PHP til at være klient, skal du nok bruge mysql-client også (og mysql-common)

det kan ikke være noget CHMOD med mapperne?

og ISF, hvordan fixes det?

De var allerede installerede

Har du gjort noget specielt for at klargøre mysql, som f.eks at køre mysql_install_db ? Denne fejl lavede jeg nemlig på SuSE en gang, og dermed blev alle MySQLs mapper og filer oprettet så det var root, der ejede dem - og da MySQL startede op, var det med en særlig bruger til kun mysql, så den kunne ikke læse (eller skrive) filerne.

Det lyder lidt som samme fejl hos dig. (Og jeg har ikke selv kørt mysql_install_db på Debian - det klares af installationen eller under første opstart.)

To start mysqld at boot time you have to copy support-files/mysql.server
to the right place for your system

Og hvis den gør, hvilke rettigheder er den sat til?

min er drwxr-xr-x  2 mysql mysql

og filerne i den er alle sammen: -rw-rw----  1 mysql mysql

Og hvad med /var/log/mysql og /var/log/mysql/mysql.log

mappen /var/lib/mysql/mysql findes men er tom...

samme rettigheder som din...

Det var med vilje, at jeg også viste ejer og gruppe for mapperne og filerne. De skal også være det samme som hos mig.

Det ser jo også fornuftigt ud. Underligt. Fejlmeddelelsen lugter langt væk af et rettighedsproblem, men alle rettighederne ser ganske normale ud.
