Download excelfil til tabel

Hej Jensen, jeg har lige importeret excelfilen til access via filer/hent eksterne data/importer, dette gik fint, men har en fornemmelse af at der er mere i det :o)

Der skal laves et importscript, som henter data direkte fra hjemmesiden :o)

Hæ, tænkte det nok, håber du for en masse gode indlæg :o)

InetTransferLib ... what is the ref. in Access 2000

Not sure about Access 2000. If you read the file (readme.txt) in Access 97 you make a reference to the MDA file and I'm sure thais can be done in 2000 too.
In XP I have a reference to MS OFfice XP Web Components, which may also be in 2000 (Web Components)

Take a look at the link I gave>

"To use this functionality in Microsoft Access 2000 or higher, please import all the classes from the addin (which does not have the tables required for a typical Access addin) in your own Access project. To use the classes, just refer to them with the 'InetTransferLib.' prefix (eg: Dim objHTTP As HTTP)"

I can download the file using HTTP in XP!

Ok ... got it. Is it not possible to import directly into a table ???

It maybe possible but I must admit I dont know, in Biztalk server it would be VERY easy :o) butthen thats another issue.

I think once you have a routine to download and import then you wont notice.
