No, sorry, I can't explain much. All I know is that I have been able to export to .csv i months/years. Suddenly today admin or someone else must have messed up something because now I can find the .csv in the dropdown menu. I have asked Admin but he know less than me ;)

if you cant find csv in the export then I suggest that access gets installed again.

ok. I'm doing some troubleshoting and think I maybe can use Visual Basic Editor to solve the problem, but I'm not sure.

I was just told that a reinstall will not help :( - It seems that others do not have the opertunity to export as .csv too.

I guess I just use Excel to save the file. Please give me an "svar" so I can give you some points for your time.

In the list of "Save file as Type" can you NOT see Text Files?

(*.txt, *.csv, *.tab, *.asc)

You can choose "Text file" but not tell the extension and the file is saved at .txt.

Well if others have the same problem, then it does sound as though admin has changed some settings which need to be corrected again. Not sure how he/she would do that.

Maybe it was a plugin or something, and now sometone/something got it removed. I'm not sure, but I have now used Excel and it works ok.

strange! File filters are installed when installing Office I think, so its strange that they are availiable in Excel but not Access.

Yes, agree, but maybe this fileextension is not standard in Access, but only in Excel.

In Control Panel you can choose to Add or Remove porgrams. If you choose Office then press the change button you can choose to Repair Office. You could try that, other than that I dont know what to suggest.
