Admissions requirement
In order to be considered as a candidate the applicant must hold:
-The equivalent to a high school degree (HF/ Gymnasium: Studentereksamen, Handelsgymnasium, HH, Teknisk Skole:HTX)
Or
-English B level and an another examination at B level (we recommend Visual Arts) as well as at least one year of professional or relevant training experience.

Applicants for the Bachelor in Character Animation Education must submit the following material:

2. A Portfolio
Applicant’s presentation of their material is important. A nice, well-organised, flat portfolio is preferred, with a label on the cover that includes full name and address.
Material in tubes etc. loose pieces of paper, and generally unorganised material will not be accepted.
Portfolio content should include drawings in the following categories:
1. Drama / acting (min. 4 drawings)
Drawings of characters in emotional, interesting, and dramatic situations. At least one of the drawings in this category should depict characters in movement. Drawings should show your thoughts about acting through the character body language.
2. Storytelling (min. 5 panels / drawings)
Make a sequence of drawings that visually tells a story or a sequence of events.
3. Life drawing (min. 3 drawings)
Drawings that show proper anatomy, size proportions, understanding of shape, body dynamics and model attitude.
4. Perspective (min. 2 drawings)
Drawings of buildings, landscapes, objects or other that show an understanding of perspective.
5. Freestyle (min. 4 drawings)
Submit some of your best, most interesting and imaginative drawings.
6. Letter of Intention
Please write a Brief description about why you would like to be a character animator.
What are your influences and inspirations?
What are your favorite stories?
Tell us about any travel experience you may have had.
List any related work or educations you have been involved in.
7. Optional
If you’ve done some animation, please submit a show reel on a VHS tape, DVD, CD or website - however please double check that they work. If your work is not there we will disregard this part of your portfolio without contacting you.
You may also submit other material that shows your creativity, like other sorts of graphic work, project descriptions, original story ideas, or perhaps a good poem.
