Hvis du har APT installeret kan du prøve med: apt-get install gambas*. Hvis du ikke har apt kan du finde den her: http://rpmfind.net/linux/rpm2html/search.php?query=apt&submit=Search+...

nu har jeg fået yum til at virke.
jeg downlaode     Fedora Core 3 Updates for i386     yum-2.2.2-0.fc3.noarch.rpm fra
http://rpmfind.net/linux/rpm2html/search.php?query=yum&submit=Search+...&system=&arch=
og opgraderen den yum jeg havde downloadet.

Det ser ud som om det er den gamle version af gambas, der giver dig problemer. Prøv at afinstallere den med: yum remove gambas*

Forsøg derefter at installere den nye version med: yum install gambas*
Hvis yum ikke er opdateret kan du køre en "yum update" først.

RETTELSE: "yum update" opdaterer hele din installation og IKKE yums pakkkeliste. Beklager.

nu er systmet i hvertfald opdateret.

når jeg prøver at

yum remove gambas*
siger yum at dne pakke ikke findes

det samme med yum update gambas*

og hvis jeg så prøver at installer

får jeg den samme fejl som før.

prøv: yum search gambas* (med eller uden *) for at finde det helt korrekte navn for programmet. Hvis navnet viser sig at være et andet end det du forsøgte med ovenfor, kan du prøve at gentage REMOVE med det nye navn.
