I am not sure I understood the question correctly, but if I did, this is the solution:

In Outlook Express, you can not alter other people's email properties from your own machine; you have to change the email settings of each person's email from the persons own machine. Then it should work. :-)

Sounds like either your address book is f*cked up or the recipients have been created with wrong SMTP addresses.

If you are using Exchange server 5.5, you'll have to change the settings there:

Programs -> Microsoft Exchange -> Microsoft Exchange Administrator

* Goto your site (green globe), expand it.
* At the bottom you'll find Recipients. Doubleclick on it.
* Pick one of the users and doubleclick
* Select E-mail Addresses and verify that the smtp-address is correct - if should read something like patricco@yourdomain.dk
* If if it is wrong or missing, choose either Edit or New | Internet address
* Click OK

Repeat for all recipients :-)
