FOUR DISTINCT CHARACTERS, FOUR DISTINCT FLAVOURS

Each of our fathers has his own identity. The same applies for our beers. We brew four kinds: ‘Blond’, ‘Dubbel’, ‘Tripel’ and ‘Quadrupel’. Four beers full of character and each with their own distinctive flavour. The ‘Blond’ is a clear, sparkling and highly fermented beer that drinks easily. By using specially selected hop plants the beer takes on a gently bitter aftertaste. Its fresh and aromatic smell is also one its characteristics. Our ‘Blond’ is 6.5% proof and is available by the bottle as well as by cask. The ‘Dubbel’ is a ruby red Trappist beer with a sweet, aromatic but above all fresh character. The beer is 6.5% proof and is available by the bottle as well as the cask. The ‘Tripel’ which comes from Koningshoeven Trappist ale is a honey coloured Trappist beer with a fruity bitter sweet flavour. The ‘Tripel’ is 8% proof. The Koningshoeven Trappist ale ‘Quadrupel’ is the strongest of the quartet at 10% proof. It has a full-bodied flavour, yet mild and pleasing. The ‘Quadrupel’ is bottled and dated according to year of bottling and is the ideal accompaniment to a long and dark winter’s evening.
