Forms Login i undermappe

jeg har lavet et nyt website i vs2005.
så har jeg lavet en undermappe hvor jeg vil have formslogin.
derfor har jeg i undermappen lavet en webconfig med:

<authentication mode="Forms">
<forms loginUrl="logon.aspx" name=".ASPXFORMSAUTH"></forms>
</authentication>
<authorization>
  <deny users="?" />
</authorization>

men når jeg builder får jeg denne fejl:

It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level.  This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS.

hvad gør jeg galt??
