3.2. Turning Answering Machine On/Off
• Press the on/off button to switch on the answering machine.
• The New Message LED will light up continuously.
• Press the on/off button to switch off the answering machine.

3.3. Setting Day and Time

To set date and time

• Press skip back button to select the hour (12h format **)

• Press the skip back button to select the minutes.
• Press and hold the skip foward button , until you hear the correct minutes
• Press the skip back button to confirm. The unit will announce PM for afternoon **.
• Press the skip forward button to select AM for morning.**
• Press the skip back button to confirm the setting.
• The complete day and time setting is then repeated for confirmation.
Note: When no key is pressed within 20 seconds, the units will return to standby.

4.1. Number of rings (Toll saver)
The orfeo 1000 will answer a call after 4 rings if there are no new messages, and after 2 rings if
there are new messages. If there are no new messages and you call your machine to check your
messages remotely (see 5 Remote operation), you can hang up after the 2nd ring. You do not need
to pay connection fees and you know that you do not have any new messages.
This procedure is fixed and can not be changed.

Du skal sørge for at slette meddelelserne, for når apparatet er tomt, svarer den efter 4 ringninger.
