FTP/English

If you use Cute FTP this is how to do it:

Select "Site manager" From "File" (f4)

Now select "Add site"

First you type in your label. Ex. HP at Tele DK

Then you write the upload address. At Tele DK it is skrives homeX-upload.inet.tele.dk (x i the number you have been given. Ex if you mail add. is name@post8.tele.dk, then tour number is 8)

After that you will have to type your username and password. And thats nearly it!

Select the site you have just defined in your site manager and then press connect.

Tada...

This is an excellent answer and I'll try it. In the meantime, and for all the points no matter what, how do I work directly from FP2000 so that I can work 'online'. Or is this the connection from FP.

If you can be bothered I would like some explanation to this.

FP's server extensions has to be installed, if you would like to work directly from FP. I dont think that Tele DK has the extensions installed, so you'll have to stick to an FTP program.

One extra thing, first, though.

On FP2000 there is already a FTP upload facility, I think. And you just click the button.

Tele Danmark has the extension installed because other people use it and work online changing their pages in FP.

Any more ideas?

If you use the ftp in FP. Then select "Publish web" from "Files". Fill in the same information as in cute ftp.
