oprette findelse til acces db/lave quary

hej vil i vb kode gerne kunne

Lave en forbindelse til access DB fra excell uden at hive en tabel over (DB1)

kunne udføre en quary (select navn from kunde where id=7)

nogen der et godt bud.

If I understand your question correctly then you have a linked table in Access where the table is in DB1.

Then from Excel you want to execute a query which selects specific data to limit load over network.

Normally when working with linked tables Access retrieves all data and then from that finds whats required (where id=7) but if you use a passthrough query then it is up to the server to find whats required before Access receives result.

I've never worked with DB1 so I cant say if it is possible to make a passthrough query which will work with DB1, but I dont see why not.

Also haven't done much with VBA in Excel. But if you can get your passthrough query to work in Access then it may also be possible to execute that query from Excel.

You could also try making a direct connection to DB1 from Excel
