Results are in Danish in Search.htm

I am making a static html web site in English with a small search function using the index service catalog and an MS search template.
It works fine! The only problem is that the title for the results page (not the documents) are still in Danish. I am almost sure that all I need to do in order to fix that is to modify a file, but where? I can\'t find it.

The page properties show http://www.mydomain.com/_vti_bin/shtml.dll/search.htm

To the experts that know me and to those that don\'t... Go a head and answer in Danish :)

perhaps it\'s because of the shtml.dll -file!
make sure it\'s not a Danish version and try replacing it with an English one.

Are you sure that this is stored in just one file ??? It could as be content negotiation too, thus it\'s stored in language specific files, and just one of the files is read depending on your browser settings.
Have you tried to change your language settings in the browser, and see if it stills returns danish ?

In Internet Explorer, you have to do the following:
Tools -> Internet Options -> Languages -> Add (new language) -> Move Up (new language)

Kim, I checked and the dll version in the English version.
also when I search the server for shtml.dll, it finds it only in 2 site root folders but not in the relevant site. I have 15 sites on my server but only 2 seem to have _vti_bin in them.

any ideas?
the server is win2k advanced and 2000 fp extension

is it the danish version of fp2000? remember that the modules used in fp extensions then will be in danish! my guess is that the only way to fix it, is to install an english version of fp extensions!

Yeah, I have a feeling you are right. I really hate messing around with my IIS installation when there are so many sites.

as we speak, I have deleted office 2000 and the DK multi language (which I think is started the problem), I have deleted all office entries from the registry and I am about to install office XP EN.

damm I hope so. It\'s the only f*** thing that keeps me from opening the site.
How can such a small thing take more time them exchange disaster recovery?
There is not much FP in me...
