Hej Eksperter
Alligevel oplever mange virksomheder, at resultaterne udebliver.
schoesler> Having a paasword on the database DOES NOT stop those taht know the password from editing your tables etc. You could concider implemeneting Access User/Group security which gives you full control over your objects (tables etc.) or maybe making an MDE file from you MDB.
The following is taken from Access help.
Saving your database as an MDE file prevents the following actions:
· Viewing, modifying, or creating forms, reports, or modules in Design view. · Adding, deleting, or changing references to object libraries or databases. · Changing code using the properties or methods of the Microsoft Access or VBA Object models ¾ an MDE file contains no source code.
schoesler>You have accepted zeth\'s answer, is this the answer you are using or not? Bit strange your asking juks to help you when you have rejected his answer too!!
I gave an answer to your question (the original) 19:24:32. Isaid that I dont think you can use zeths answer because it does NOT stop those who know the database password from altering your tables and forms. And I dont think F11 (annulering) will help either. Hold SHIFT down and you bypass startup code. Then they can do what they want. If you want stop people playing around then you should implement Access User/Group security.
yes you need a special version of Office (developer). But if users have Access then they can still open with no problem. The runtime version is still the same database.
Synes godt om
