Hi fastwriter! Yes I have seen your previous questions. I have never really understood the way the TAB works in Access, but I think it because everyone has their own idea of how they expect it to work. So it takes a bit of programming to get it to work optimal. Anyway I will see if I canput something together and get back to you. mvh Terry
There is a property on the formed named Key preview. If you set this to YES (True) then key events for the form are invoked BEFORE the controls (fields etc.) key events.
Then in the forms keydown event you have the following code.
Private Sub Form_KeyDown(KeyCode As Integer, Shift As Integer) Select Case KeyCode Case vbKeyTab
Me.Parent.s01.SetFocus \'Me.Parent.s02.SetFocus End Select End Sub
Me.parent is the sub forms parent, in other words themain form. In this example. s01 is the name of the Sub form control, not the name of the actual form being used as a sub form, although they will very likely be the same!
What happens when the sub form gets the focus depends what controls are on the form.
Terry - du har reddet mig igen!!! Du har snart mange redninger på samvittigheden!!! Hvornår laver du en hjemmeside med tutorials?!... kan man komme på kurser i din hjerne?
Well there is a \"hjemmeside\" already, eksperten! But I must admit, it isnt always easy to search for previous questions on ones own problem. You never know, I may make something some day. But the best way in learning is \"try and try and trya again\" :o)
