that was a qucik answer I gave as I had to go to a meeting (even I have work to do!) and in 30 minutes I have to go to another, so will get back to you.

You will need a counter to keep track of how many records exist. Each time you update the form you need to update and check if th ecounter has changed. If it has then maximize or whatever

Selvom Access er minimeret, kører den vel formularen hvert 10. sekund?

Ja, det gør den sikkert. Men hvordan inputtes en ny post? Henter den selv nye poster fra netværk?

Hvis dette er tilfældet, kan du jo bruge Terry\'s svar med at tjekke antal poster, og så maksimere formen hvis der er nye.

Hvis det derimod ikke er et netværk, og en bruger skal indtaste en ny post, ja så er Access jo åben?

Terry - det er åbenbart din metode jeg skal bruge, for den opdaterer automatisk.. men kom lige med et eksempel!!!

Shi. ! Sorry I didnt get back before now. Ther have been so many mails going through my box taht I just havent been able to keep track of them all. Anyway, I will ha´ve a look tomorrow, too much winneeee...... at the moment :o)

Hi fastwriter> I have now played around with this for a few hours without too much luck!
The restore  works if the Access application is the "active" application but as soon as its in the background it doesnt!
I have tried with some Windows API calls but they dont seem to be 100% stable, sometimes working sometimes not. I will continue playing around some more, but dont build your hopes up. This isnt an area I have worked with before!

fastwriter>I still dont have much luck with this so I think I will have to pass on this one for the moment. If you want your points back then let me know.
P.S I will still see if I can find a solution, but I cant say when :o)
