Danske runtime licenser?
Jeg har lige investeret i Office XP Developer - mega dyrt.
Jeg har imidlertid det problem, at jeg gerne vil lave danske runtime licenser. Jeg spurgte Microsoft, og fik at vide, at man også skal købe en dansk Access2002, før det kan lade sig gøre.
Jeg har prøvet at installere en engelsk runtime på en dansk Windows98 maskine, men det ville den ikke være med til, pga sprogkonflikt. Den bad om at få en dansk udgave af office system pack.
Er jeg virkelig tvunget til at investere yderligere 3-4.000 kr? Eller er der nogen som har en bedre (=billigere) løsning?

I hekla>I havent tried this with XP but are you sure its Windows and not Office which is causing the problem? I have had a similar problem on PC's where Dansk Office is installed and then try installing an English runtime!
The problem is that the run-time set-up i strying to copy files which already exist (in another language).
In Access 97 there was a file (setupo.inf) which contains information about the files included in the setup, if and when they should be copied.
My soulution to this problem was to later this file so that the conflicting files DID NOT get copied.
I am not sure if it is the same files which are giving the problem in XP but in 98 thye were the lines which looked like this:
"msjint35_dll" = 1,MSJINT35.DLL<MSJINT35.DLL>,,,,,,1033,NEVER,,,,,,SHARED,123664,,,,3.51.623.
0,
"dao2535_tlb" = 1,DAO2535.TLB<DAO2535.TLB>,,,,,,1033,NEVER,,,,,,SHARED,73184,,,,3.51.1608.0,
The two places where NEVER is wa originally OLDER
So if you want to avoid using more money you can try to find the files which are causing the problem. Good Luck :o)

Hi terry. Thanks for your ansver. It looks a bit complicated, and I would be a bit worried about spoiling the customers setup with this mix of languages. So I gave up and ordered the danish version of Office XP Pro
