Importeringsprocedure
xxx>I think you rbest bet here is to import the data into a TEMP table whereafter you will need to make a function to "import" the required information into the existing table! Then when this is all working you use a macro to call your procedure.. IF you give me more information then I will see what I can do for you. You can send me your database if you like.
Yes it WILL be automatic, but first it will be necessary to make a routine which can "automate" the procedure. Access can import data and you can make an import specification which can be used againa and again, but I have a feeling that Access's import functions CAN NOT do it all. A macro can NOT do this, so you WILL more than likley need to do this in code. I can do this for but I need to know EXACTLY what you want doing!
can you send the file/database you want to import or at least part of it dktebrsa@europe.lego.com
