1. Click on the link that has the files you want and a new window will
pop-up with I-Drive and some files on it.
2. Click the little box next to ALL of the files that you want to
download so that there is a checkmark next to the file. Now click the
yellow \"Download\" button.
3. Now the page should have refreshed with the files you checkmarked
at the right. You can use Getright (Getright may not automatically
open when you click on the link, in which case you will have to
manually right-click it and save the hyperlink, then you will have to
open the Geright Download Box, then say \"New URL\", then paste it
(Ctrl+V). Then you will have to do the following to let Getright
work with idrive:
First open configuration, go to advanced, hit the more button and make
sure \"Send Referer in HTTP Requests\" in checked. Select \"Generated from
the download URL\", restart your browser. Go to idrive account, copy URL
to GetRight, remove the s from the URL.
Example: Change
https://www.idrive.com/............to
http://www.idrive.com/............... OR
http://idrive.com/............... If you don\'t use Getright (or some other download helper that works
with idrive), then you will have to download each file one-by-one or
two at a time (im not sure) because I-Drive does not support multiple
downloads. Under each of the files that you checkmarked earlier, there
should be the options: \"download\" and \"open\". Click the \"download\"
option unless the file is a read-me file, in which case you would
select the \"open\" option (but you can still download it, it doesn\'t
matter).
4. If their hasn\'t been to many downloads from the specific account
you are in in a certain period of time, a download box should appear
and your download should start. If this is not the case, and a new
page appears, use the steps after this too.
5. If a new page appears -
(something like: Thanks for using i-drive!
In an effort to keep i-drive running efficiently for all users, we
limit the amount of data downloaded from an individual account over a
period of time. --- To get this file immediately...
click below to save it to an i-drive using SideloadTM) -
then click the hyperlink at the bottom that sais:
save :FILE: to an i-drive account
then this is where you\'ll need an i-drive account of your own.
6. Put in your i-drive username and password in the new window that
comes up, and click \"login\". If you had a valid username and password
then the page will refresh with a little i-drive icon and the word
\"success\" listed under it.
7. Now do this for every file you want. You will not have to login
to your i-drive account everytime you use sideload (i-drive\'s term
for using this method).
NOTE: If there are a lot of files in the account that has reached
the download limit, then it might be easier just to login to your
idrive using a seperate page, then by putting a check by all the files
in the account that you are in. Then, simply click the \"Take\" option
at the bottom of the page (where the \"Download\", \"Upload\", \"Send\", etc.
options are). You MUST be logged into your account in order to do
this, or the Take option will be listed as gray (which means the option
is not available). Then the screen will refresh on the right side, and
then you simply verify the \"take\" option. Then you go back to your
account, refresh it, and the files should be there.
8. Login to your i-drive account that you saved the file to, and the
files should be there. Now you SHOULD be able to download them. If
the files that you are wanting to download are large in size, then it
might be wise to create 2 or 3 i-drive accounts, and divide the files
into each account, so you want experience a download limit on your
own account. OR you can just wait a day if your patient to continue
downloading the files from your i-drive account.
