Fact
Formerly TID 2948779
Novell BorderManager 3.0
--------------------------------------------------
Symptom
Error: \"Dynamic link library BSMON.dll cannot located\"
Error: \"Dynamic link library BSMON.dll cannot be located or is corrupted. path variable is invalid or your dlls were installed incorrectly\".
--------------------------------------------------
Cause
This occurs when you install BorderManager snapins from one workstation onto a server, and then later run NWADMN32.EXE from a different workstation. BSMON expects some support libraries (GS*.* files from a commercial package) to be installed into the WINDOWS directory. Upcoming versions of the product should not display this problem, we have since modified this so the GS*.* files so they will exist in the snapin execution path.
--------------------------------------------------
Fix
Copy the 4 GS*.* files from the BorderManager cd under PUBLIC\\BRDMGR\\SNAPINS\\REDIST\\WIN95 (or WINNT) to the directory where you run NWADMN32.exe.
Note if you get the Error: \"Dynamic link library BSMON.DLL cannot located\" when you run NWADMN95.EXE or NWADMNNT.EXE, the cause would be different; this has only been found with the NWADMN32 utility.
