SQL for updateing sluttid is>

"UPDATE YourTable SET Sluttid = Now() WHERE ID = " & ThisIsAvariableWithID


NOTE>to calculate the time taken is no problem, the problem is how it gets displayed! Normally you would not have the løbstid in th edB as this can always be calculated.

I´m afraid it´s not enough.
WHERE ID = " & ThisIsAvariableWithID
"ThisIsAvariableWithID" should be the barcode number just entered by barcodereader, so how do I define this in the sql statement

I have NO IDEA as to how your barcode program works but ThisIsAvariableWithID is a variable and its up to you to get what ever you read in with your barcoder program into a variable. Then you can use

Docmd.runsql "UPDATE YourTable SET Sluttid = Now() WHERE ID = " & ThisIsAvariableWithID
