Eksporter data til tabulator-sepereret tekstfil

Højreklik på tabellen og vælg "eksporter", så tilbyder Access nogle muligheder.

Glemte noget. Det skal gøres automatisk, altså via en makro.

Lars, export the table using the export wizard and SAVE the Export specificiation. You can use this in your macro.

Then make a new macro setting th efolowing paramaters

Action = TransferText
TransferType = Export Delimited
Specification Name = Name of the specification you saved
table name = ...
File name c:\testTab.tab 'EXAMPLE

Or you can use something like this in VBA

DoCmd.TransferText acExportDelim, "MyExportSpec", "MyTable", ""
DoCmd.TransferText acImportDelim, "MyImportSpec", "MyTable", "C:\testtab.tab", False

its is a simple macro Lars! You have to give it some information or how does it know the table /filename information?

A delimited export can have different delimiters, so you can use the export specification to tell it which to use.

little error in the VBA!

DoCmd.TransferText acExportDelim, "MyExportSpec", "MyTable", "C:\testtab.tab", False

the last parameter (false) means that you dont want the field (column) headers in the file. If you do want these then change to true

In the macro you set the Has Field Names to yes

I think you would need to make your own export function to display text at the start of the file. You could have another table containing this information and then make a UNION query where you select information from this table and also the table con´taining the data. But you have to remember that the column data types must be the same in a UNION query.
Just an idea!

problem with this idea is that you have be able to sort the result so that the text you want at the top, is the first line!
