sæt den gamle disk til som den sad før, og kør fil og settings transfer guide fra tilbehør-> system værktøjer, det er det nemmeste ;)

Hvad så hvis jeg har været inde og slette en masse på harddisken, og flyttet rundt på mapperne, men alt fra wíndow og Office er der endnu. Jeg regner ikke med at den kan starte op i den gamle windows.

Er der ikke en mappe hvor alt dette bliver lagt ind i...?

søg efter pst det er din outlook fil, men kan ikek huske om mail indstillinger også gemmes i den

Jov men jeg fik da lidt mere med end du fik

Jeg vil sige mange tak for forsøget men det lykkes desværre ikke som i skrev men jeg fandt en fil et andet sted der ikke var en .pst og der var alle mine gamle mail og adresser i.
Nu mangler jeg bare opsætningen af min mail så der er stadigvæk point på højkant.

Hvor finder jeg den henne..?

Hvis dine data og opsætning fra den gamle harddisk er vigtige for dig ville jeg oprette en partition på min nye disk og kopiere alt indholdet fra  den gamle disk over på den partition, brug MAXBLAST http://www.maxtor.com/portal/site/Maxtor/menuitem.8db0c3d6932ced37294198b091346068/?channelpath=/en_us/Support/Software%20Downloads/All%20Downloads eller DAPPIX http://www.helgec.dk/dappix.html.
Når du er færdig med kopieringen booter du op på din XP-skive, vælger "REPARER FRA GENOPRETTELSESKONSOL" og logger ind, herefter skriver du
bootcfg  /rebuild -> klik enter -> klik enter til det systemet spørger om i forbindelse med denne komando -> skriv fixboot -> klik enter -> bekræft -> skriv fixmbr -> klik enter -> bekræft -> klik enter -> skriv exit -> klik enter.
Nu genstarter computeren og du får en bootmenu hvor du også kan vælge dit gamle system, efter at du har fået de data du ønsker sletter du igen dit gamle system og redigerer "boot.ini".
Du kan naturligvis også vælge at sætte din gamle harddisk som slave og så køre proceduren fra
"booter du op på din XP-skive, vælger "REPARER FRA GENOPRETTELSESKONSOL" og logger ind, herefter skriver du

Tja!! hvad skal jeg svare? det læste afhænger af øjet der ser. Men det bedste ville da være at spørgeren kom på banen og afmystificerede tvivlen

Jeg har været inde og slette en helt del, men mener ikke at det har været noget omkring windows, og hvad der ellers skulle være at vigtige programmer som jeg måske skulle have oplysninger fra, men der er renset godt ud, og så er det lagt i en samlet mappe på harddisken.

Kan det ikke skabe problemer med min nye windows installation hvis jeg laver en disk repration, jeg tænker kode...?

Du laver ingen diskreparation, du tilføjer din gamle XP installation i bootsekvensen (hvis den altså findes, hvis den ikke findes så er den potte ude)

Jeg er bange for at der står min it viden af.....

Jeg ville nu have monteret den gamle HD UDEN den NYE.
Lad XP bliver startet op (som i dine gamle dage) - pille den ønskede info/filer ud og overfør til andet medie.

Derefter bytte tilbage til den NYE osv osv osv...

I går da jeg søgte efter filer .pst kom den frem med denne, det kan være at i kan tyde noget fra den.
Det er en konfigurations fil der hedder OPW11USR.
