Kan ikke sætte rigtig skærmopløsning

Som root i konsollen
init 3  -> klik enter
Log ind som root
skriv sax2  -> enter
Nu bør du kunne instille på livet løs

Det har jeg nu prøvet, og i sax2 kan jeg vælge 1280x768, 16:10 opsætning etc. Men så snart jeg trykker Test kører den igen 1024x768 - det samme er tilfældet hvis jeg gemmer opsætningen og kører startx eller booter maskinen.

Så jeg fik desværre ikke løst problemet på den måde ...

Har du testet at redigere i xorg.conf?

Normalt sætter jeg opløsningen deri. :) Hvis du finder den relevante bid af din xorg.conf skal vi nok redigere den til for dig, så det kommer til at passe.

Hvis det ikke virker startede vi med at lave backup af xorg.conf, så bare kopier den tilbage så burde det virke med den tidligere opløsning igen.

Ok - så virker det. Jeg skulle lige en tur tilbage i sax2 og sætte opløsningen, men så startede den rigtigt op.

Du skal bare gemme filen ved reinstallation. Der kan self være komplikationer hvis xorg ændrer conf udseendet. Det har jeg dog ikke selv oplevet endnu...
