DNS searching for Internet access
In both Windows NT4/98/95 you can specify more than 1 DNS server in the searching order field (Network properties -> TCP/IP -> DNS). It means that if the first one is out of service the followings can be automatically activated. It has never been true in my network where I have 60 workstations. Every time the first DNS in the searching order list fails your internet access fails. It is quite a pain that I have to change the order on each workstation!My network configuration is Nt4SP4 for both server and workstations and some 98/95 workstations.
Anybody can help? I will appreciate it.
