CurrentDb.Execute "UPDATE Produkt SET Fabrikat ...it shouldnt be necessary to leave the form to update the records, thats what the SQL does.

but you could do a .requery to see the updated records

After running CurrentDb.Execute "UPDATE Produkt... try opening the table to see that the records are updated

When do you get the error 7878? (Data has changed)

Did you try looking at the data in th etable after you have run the "CurrentDb.Execute "UPDATE Produkt."?

This is really just to show you that the data IS updated in the table, and its only the forms data which needs refreshing to reflect the changes?

You can probably use standard error handling to catch the error and respond accordingly.
