db-fejl: no value given for one or more required parameters
Jeg får en database fejl fra Access, som siger: Error Type: Microsoft JET Database Engine (0x80040E10) No value given for one or more required parameters.
Hvad betyder det??? Jeg kan desværre ikke henvise til en kodelinje, da jeg kalder et COM-objekt i ASP og fejlen ligger i COM-koden, men fejlmeddelelsen refererer kun til ASP-siden.

If your INSERTING into a database and a field MUST have a value, then you may get this error! Does the COM object require paraamters, if so make sure it gets them!
I\'m not inserting or changing anything in the database, only select-statements. The COM object requires a parameter and it\'s getting it alright, so I\'m really confused about the problem.
I assume that its the COM object which is communicating with the database. Can it be that the database has been altered and the COM object isnt aware of this? Also you must ensure that the data types required are correct!
Yes, the COM object is communicating with the database and the COM object should be up-to-date... although it apparently isn\'t. But I really don\'t understand the error message. Where should I have given a value? In the select-statement? In the database? I have checked everything I could think of, but with no luck...
Are you sending a select statemnt to the COM object? If so then you could try copying your select statement into a query in the access database. If it works here then it is VERY likely that your COM object is the source of the problem.
Has it ever worked? If so, then what has changes since?
it was a problem with the registration of the COM object, thx for the help...
