well, I would suggest that you make a query which selects UNIQUE records and INSERTS them into a TEMP table. Then delete the originla table and then you can either copy all records from the temp table back into th eoriginal table or delete the original and then rename the TEMP.
One could ask WHY there are duplicates? If your database was designed correctly then you should NOT be able to create duplicates.
Arnvig>> Can you please tell me have to delete the duplets in my tabel?? It would realy help me.... My database can´t handle duplets so and thats the point yea??
arnvig>what are you getting at? People are allowed to think for themselves and some idea help them do that! Just to point something out - mugs has given a solution which edske has accepted (even though he cant get it to work)! and now YOU have the chance of giving him a solution :o)
Terry: Sorry, i'm just beeing sarcastic. This is another example of the wrong answer getting the points. I'm all for giving a hint instead of a solution, but that wont earn any points. Too bad.
arnvig>OK, I thought you were commenting me NOT giving a direct solution. I dont mind too much about mugs getting the points (he needs them :o) ) But in this case its the wrong (incomplete) solution.
