Pop up på dato

Just to get you on the right track as the solution could be mad in a number of ways.
If it is only a date you are concerned with then you can do it in a form when you open the application. If it is also the time then you will need to use a timer even which checks your table at specific intervals.

You could start by making a query with the criteria for the date field = Date() This will only show records with date = days date.

Maria, is it just the date or do you want to take the time into concideration too?

Something else you should look at!
In Access 2000 and XP it is possible to use something called conditional formatting! If for example you have a form showing a number of detail records then you could get Access to change the colour of the date field IF it is todays date.

In design view select the date field and then on th eformatting menu you should be able to find Conditional Formatting.

maks sure your date field is selected (in design view)
Then in the "betinget formatering" menu for teh first condition (Condition 1) your combo boxes/field should be
Field Value is equal to Date()

Then choose the Format (colour font etc.) you want to use when the condition is true.

Make a query and set the criteria field for the date column to
date()
this will only select the records which have the date = today.
You can then use this query to make a form which will then show the records for today.
You could also have a Yes/no field in the table and in the form this will be a checkbox. You can use this to mark those which you have taken action on. Then in the query you need to set the Yes/no columns criteria to False , so that only those which are NOT checked will be shown.

In the form you will then need to requery when you change the value of the yes/no field.

In the forms AFTER UPDATE event

me.requery

Hope you understand, if not you can send it to eksperten@santhell.dk and I will take a look when I get time.
