Jo, XHTML er netop langt mere stringent end HTML på sådanne områder. Det er der så nogen af os der kan lide, og andre der tilsyneladende ikke kan...
Det minder mig forresten om en quiz jeg faldt over engang, der gik ud på man skulle finde den ene 'syntaksfejl' der er i nedenstående dokument (sendt som text/html, UTF-8 encoding) (og nej, der er kun én!):
