Hej .. How can it be done with a replication. Is it not just a copy.

I understood your question to mean that the other users also had the same database on another PC and you want to sycronize databases. If this is correct then Replication can be used for this although its best to design the database with this in mind.

From Access HELP:
The process of updating two replicas in which all updated records and objects are exchanged. The exchange of data between two replicas can be one-way or two-way and may be handled by a Synchronizer.

If its just a case of getting some data in or out then use Import and Export.

Thanks for your hint - it works, but if You think the best way to do it is in the design of the db, what are the requirements(rougly).

When a databases is converted to a replicated database a number of changes are made to it. Some you dont need to think about and others you do. For example, Autonumber fields are changed from incremental to random, which consequently can have consequences for reports which use this field for sorting.

If you intend using replication then I would suggest that you purchase a book. Also Access does have quite a bit of help on the subject.

It could save you quite a bit of work!
