samba

Hejsa!
Jeg sider og kigger på en samba server jeg skal sætte op. Men jeg vil gerne har lidt hjælp.
Hvordan skal \"smb.conf\" filen se ud for at man via en win98 kan se den...

Jeg skal sige at jeg køre med Linux Red Hat 7.0....

Jeg håber i kan hjælpe mig!!

Jeg har taget den smb.conf som følger med når man installere samba og modiferet den til den opsætning, som jeg bruger. Det skal siges at den er sat op som PDC server - kan ændres til enten user eller share i linien security.

De brugere som skal have adgang til samba skal oprettes på linuxboxen med

useradd brugernavn

og tilføjes til samba med

smbpasswd -ae brugernavn

Hvis windows skal kunne se din maskine så skal du have et share + netbios navn
