OLE-objekter SUCKS!
the reason I referred to the other question was first to inform you that the question had been brought up recently, without a satisfactory answer, and secondly to say that you could maybe get some help too!
If there arent too many pictures then you could actually use the method of opening the picture in an application and saving it to a file. This could be automated with the Sendkeys action from VB Code.
As I answered in the other question, its possible to bind the picture field to a bound object frame. Then in code its possible to open the picture in the application associated with it. For example a BMP file would open in Paint. Then in code the Sendkeys could be used to actually automate the Paint application. Sendkeys sends keystrokes to the active application, in this case it would be Paint. So sending keys to open the file-save menu etc. could maybe automate it all for you. Obviously you would have to alter the file name in code too. Then close Paint, and move to the next picture......(In code)
